I am thankful for a little girl who knows what she wants.

Like on Halloween night, when I wanted her to be Pebbles...
and she insisted that she be a princess.
I appreciate that the girl knows what she wants. I am thankful that she has her own style and her own sense of "me". I am thankful that she knows what she likes and she knows how to get what she likes. And I am thankful that she is confident and self-assured and strong-willed.

Now, that doesn't mean that I wasn't a tiny bit sad that she wouldn't wear her Pebbles costume. Or even a tiny bit irritated that I spent $34 on it and she only wore it once. Or that some mornings and nights and even afternoons her strong sense of "I know what I want" doesn't cause some tension and disagreements amongst our household. We've been known to fuss and argue and all throw tantrums to some extent.

But, for the most part I am thankful. And I couldn't be happier.

Side Note: I ordered MK's costume and spent $40+ dollars. I made mine and Travis' costumes and together they cost less than $20. Woo-hoo!
