Prematurity Awareness Month Fact #7:
A baby's brain at 35 weeks weighs only two-thirds of what it will weight at 39 to 40 weeks.

Can you believe that? That fact blew my mind. It's crazy to think that at 35 weeks, only five weeks from being full term, a baby's brain is only two-thirds the size of what it will be at birth. Amazing!
