Weekend Wrap-Up
Friday Morgan Kate had her second RSV shot of the season. The nurse was awesome and instead of giving MK two injections, she stuffed all of the "goods" in one shot. Therefore, MK only got stuck once. Thank goodness. Luckily the shot also fell around feeding time, so I brought some food to comfort her. A little loving and a little food always helps me feel better and it worked for MK too.
Saturday was an extra special day. Not only did we get to spend some good quality time with family, as well as hang out at Uncle Owens' new house, but we also got to visit Santa.
For those of you who don't know, I LOVE Santa. And I firmly think the saying is true, "If you believe, you will receive". Just ask my parents. Hee, hee! Anyway, I was curious as to how MK would react to Santa. I didn't think she would be scared, she isn't afraid of anyone. And because Travis has a beard, she actually prefers men with facial hair. But you never know with little ones. We waited in line for over an hour. LONG wait, but MK did great. She is definitely a "people watcher" and she also likes being watched. Once we made it to Santa she was a champ. She sat in his lap like they were old friends. My heart melted.

Too cute. We have yet to make it to see Santa this year. Hopefully soon!
