My parents came for an overnight this past weekend. It was an overnight full of laughing, loving and of course, eating. As always, we loved having them here and were extremely sad to see them leave.
Speaking of leaving. As my mom was packing her belongings Saturday morning, she tried packing a little something extra.
These two HAVE to be watched. Carefully. At all times.

Funny, my dad does the same thing. He'll either walk off holding Asher while saying "bye!" or he'll tell Asher, "tell mom and dad you're gonna miss 'em." I'm actually trying to plan a weekend away with Brent where mom and dad can keep Asher. I just think it's important for us to remember to focus on each other. I'm sure your parents would gladly do the same. : )

I think your friend Kristen has a great idea. Let your mama keep her one weekend and do some fun stuff with Travis. You will miss her, but you will be SO glad that you had some time to focus on each other alone. Do it...I promise you won't regret it.
