I'm kind of holding my breath.

My fingers and toes are tightly crossed.

For the past two nights there has been no crying. No screaming. No fussing. No arguing. No up and down fifteen hundred times. No middle of the night "crawl-in-mommy-and-daddy-bed" visitor. Nope. Nothing.

Our girl has gone to bed and for the most part stayed in the bed. Of course it has required work on all of our parts, but it has been well worth the effort. Travis has been putting her to bed, he's much better at it than I am. He's been laying down with her until she falls asleep. Monday night it only took about twenty minutes, last night it was much longer, but still no drama-fest right before bed. Monday night she got up twice, but Travis put her back to bed and she stayed. Last night, which was my "duty" night, she got up once and after using the potty and wanting to be rocked for "just two minutes" she went right back to sleep.  She's much happier because she's actually sleeping. Daddy is much happier because he is sleeping. And of course Mommy is much happier because mommy is sleeping. And we all know, when momma's happy, everybody's happy. It's a win-win situation.

Now, we just pray it lasts.
